These are the terms of ordering from The Ballad Studio LLC. They're written the way we write everything — plainly.
A custom song written from the true story you tell us through our story form. Your story and the lyrics are shaped by humans. The music production is AI-assisted. We say so openly. Every delivered song is numbered — one of one, never reused, and never written again for anyone else.
Website orders: Signature Song $399 (song, story form, two rounds of small changes), First Dance Package $549 (adds a ceremony version and a music-only version), Memorial/Tribute Song $449 (two rounds of small changes, no deadline on the story form, one person handling your order start to finish). Add-ons: rush 72-hour delivery +$150, extra version +$99. Etsy orders include one round of small changes and no extra versions; Etsy pricing is shown on each listing.
Your ballad is delivered within five days of your completed story form and payment, or within 72 hours with rush delivery. "Small changes" means adjustments to the existing song — a name, a line, a verse, a mix note — not a new song from a new story.
Your ballad is yours for personal use, always and without limit: your ceremony or service, your family and friends, your own social pages and profiles. Commercial use — anything that earns money, including monetized channels and advertising — needs our written permission first; just write to us. We keep the underlying composition rights so that "one of one" stays enforceable for you: it's how we guarantee your song is never resold, licensed, or rewritten for anyone else.
We share nothing without you. If you'd like your ballad in our public collection, we'll ask for written permission and you can say no — or yes, then change your mind later. Memorial ballads are never shared publicly without the family's written permission, in any form, ever.
Before we begin writing, you may cancel for a full refund. Once writing has begun, the order can't be canceled — the work is custom and belongs only to you — but your included rounds of small changes exist so the song ends up exactly right. If we fail to deliver within the promised time, you choose: wait, or receive a full refund.
You promise your story is yours to tell and that names you include may be included. We promise to treat it with care — see our privacy page for exactly how.
