You trust us with true stories. Here is exactly how we treat what you share — in plain words, because that's the only kind we use.
Three kinds of things, and only when you give them to us: your contact details (name and email) when you order or ask for the twelve questions; your story — the answers you write in our story form; and order details, like the occasion, names to be sung, and dates that matter. Payment goes directly to our payment processor; we never see or store your card number.
Your story is used for one thing: writing your song. Your email is used to deliver your ballad, answer your messages, and — only if you asked for the twelve questions — to send them to you. Every email that isn't about your order has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing always works the first time.
We never sell your information. We never share your story, your song, or your name publicly without your written permission — this matters most for memorial ballads, and it is absolute. We never reuse your story or your lyrics for anyone else; every ballad is one of one.
A person at our studio reads your story to write your song. Beyond that, only the services that make the studio run: our email service and our payment processor. Each holds only what it needs to do its job. Our song production uses AI-assisted tools; your story answers are used to write lyrics by hand and are not fed wholesale into those tools.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
We keep your story and your song so we can honor your included changes and so your ballad is never accidentally rewritten for someone else. If you'd like your story deleted, write to us and we'll do it — we'll keep only the minimal order record the law requires.
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — one email does it: [email protected]. We answer every message ourselves.
